Many thanks to all of you who came along to last weekend's Flight Sim 2019 show at the RAF Museum Cosford and to all the exhibitors who supported the event - you made it a most enjoyable weekend! This was our first two-day show and it seems that the extended format suited everyone, giving both visitors and exhibitors more space and allowing all of us more time to spend talking to each other.
Special thanks to everyone who travelled to the show from across Europe, the USA and further afield. Some of you made quite amazing journeys to join us over the weekend and your dedication really is appreciated.
Flight Sim 2019 is organised and hosted by Just Flight, in association with media sponsor PC Pilot magazine.
On top of hosting the show, the Just Flight team will be exhibiting as usual. South West Flight Simulator Group is based in South Devon and meets at Ipplepen Village Hall near Newton Abbot. The aim of the group is to provide a social meeting venue for flight simulator enthusiasts in the South West. Here's what exhibitors and visitors said about previous Flight Sim events
A parking charge is payable by visitors to the RAF Museum's Cosford site. The income generated is used to assist in meeting the costs of maintaining the Museum's national collection and of operating its sites.
Parking fees:
Parking charges are applicable for visitors arriving on motorbikes. If there is more than one motorbike per bay, please purchase one ticket only.
Change for parking meters can be obtained from the Admissions Desk in the Visitor Centre (glass fronted building). Two of the parking meters accept card payments.
The show will be held on the 5th & 6th October 2019 in Hanger 1 at the RAF Museum Cosford.
Show opening times:
A free shuttle bus will be on hand to carry visitors between the local station (Cosford) and the exhibition hall, and will also carry visitors who have parked in the overflow car park which will be open by the train station.
Times to be confirmed closer to the event.
The presentations are held in the auditorium which is located in the National Cold War Exhibition Hangar which is adjacent to Hangar 1.
Staff will be on hand to direct and assist on the day if required.
